An internet with a download speed of 20 Mbps does not necessarily mean that we will download a 100 MB movie in 5 seconds. In fact, bits, i.e. the unit in which the internet speed is usually given, is 1/8 byte (weight unit). As a result, the previously mentioned movie at a speed of 20 Mb/s will not be downloaded in 5, but in 100 / (20/8) = 40 seconds. This calculator allows you to quickly and easily calculate these values, but remember that this is an approximate download time - everything may also depend on your actual speed at a given moment (usually it varies depending on the load on your connection) as well as the servers themselves, which often have your own limitations.
