How to use Age Calculator?

To use the age calculator, simply fill in the Date of Birth and Age at date fields with specific dates. The calculator should calculate the difference in years, months and days between dates. In addition, it also converts the number of days into hours, minutes or even seconds. The result is shown directly below the calculator. Note that the Date of Birth should be greater than Age at date.

This calculator is based on the most popular age counting system, with age increasing in birthdays. For example, a person aged 20 celebrating their birthday on July 20 will become 21 this day. The first year of child's life begins one year after birth, which is 365 or 366 days on the Gregorian calendar. When we are counting age, it is also worth to remember that some cultures use different systems. Average life length depends on gender, region and many other factors. In some countries, it is over 80, but there are also countries, where it is less than 50. Statistics show that gender can also affect on the average life length of a country's inhabitants. The differences between the average life length of women and men in given countries are often even over five years, very often in favor of women. Interestingly, over the years, the average length of human life has changed significantly. For example, in the Bronze Age, the average human life length was around 26 years, when today it is probably around 70 years. For 2020, the longest-lived person (whose birth certificate has been unambiguously confirmed) was Jeanne Calment. The French woman lived in total 122 years and 164 days. The longest-lived male was Japanese Jiroemon Kimura, who lived 116 years and 54 days.
